ABOUT US • Interactive Training Dynamics (ITD), has a wealth of experience
and resources culminating in over 58 years in the field of education,
training and development, in the formal and informal sectors. Working with
both the Private and Public sectors, ITD has specialised in the design,
development, implementation and evaluation of programme interventions for
environmental, waste and quality management systems, occupational health and
safety and business basics. Instrumental in the successful application of•
Interactive Training Dynamics' methodology, approach and programmes, are the
facilitators.
ITD comprises of two members, namely Mr Leslie Mcinga and Ms Judi Robinson
and a team of facilitators in specialist fields.
Vuyisile Leslie Mcinga has been extensively involved in the field of
community liaison and training for the past 32 years. Having successfully
run his own company for three years, Leslie chose to accept employment in
the engineering sector where he excelled in the areas of Project Management
and Community liaison and training. Having joined•ITD in 1997, Les's
multi-lingual approach to facilitation, education and training, ensures all
participants fully understand the processes and the successful sustainable
application of the designated programme/s thereafter. Leslie's ability to
understand the needs of communities, participants and trainees, ensures
their confident involvement in the development process of the programme. His
expertise is one of the critical success factors of•Interactive Training
Dynamics' portfolio of education, training and development programmes.
Judi Robinson has been extensively involved in education and training for
the past 26 years, culminating in the establishment of•Interactive Training
Dynamics in January 1995. During the past ten years, Judi has developed a
close working relationship with the private and public sectors. She has
successfully developed and established a highly interactive approach in the
design and implementation of education, training and development
interventions. In addition to her education and training skills, Judi
qualified as a quality and environmental auditor. She has effectively
integrated auditing into the Learning Needs Analysis phase of•ITD's
programme development, as well as the evaluation process. PROGRAMMES

integrating team building and goal setting; maximising and developing
individual's skills and competencies; empowering employees to effectively
and confidently undertake their work responsibilities; designed to assist
learners to comprehend and understand the programme principles through
unique methodologies and visual media; interactive, stimulating and
involving participants in the improvement process, transcending educational
and communication barriers;
developed to ensure employee consultation throughout, fostering ownership
and the successful programme implementation thereafter and the education,
training development programmes are either sector specific or generic. ISO
14 001 - EMS
Initial Environmental Review Education & Training EMS Preparation, planning
& implementation through facilitation, education and training. The EMS
education and training programme ensures that all participants are trained
in accordance with Section 4.4.2 of the ISO 14 001 EMS standard. The
training is practical and 'hands-on', relating specifically to addressing
the organisation's environmental aspects and impacts. Target audience: 'All

Service Excellence Based upon the organisation's ISO 9001/2 Quality
Management System (QMS), learners establish why quality standards are
essential for the organisation. They identify quality improvement
opportunities within their operation/s, in accordance with the QMS Standard.
Target audience: 'All company personnel' WASTE MINIMISATION & MANAGEMENT
Participants are involved in the design, development and implementation of
an integrated waste management system for the organisation, with specific
reference to their work activities and responsibilities. Target audience:

Signage Literacy The programme explores the OHS Act 85 of 1993 and the
responsibilities of all personnel in adhering to the legislative
requirements. MSDS and hazardous substance specific training programmes are

PERSONNEL Basic Business Skills Time Management An introduction to business
management involving learners in practical business activities related to

Interactive Training Dynamics' programmes are designed to meet the
education, training and development requirements of the management,
administrative, technical, supervisory and shop floor sectors. Programme
delivery is undertaken in the preferred language of the learners and the
duration will vary accordingly. Interactive Training Dynamics… involves
employees in process improvement programmes by facilitating their
participation whereby they: analyse the operational situation, identify
areas for improvement, make root cause problem solving assessments and
recommendations, implement their solutions, changing the process marginally
but continually. This is achieved through involving employees in the
sequential developmental stages as illustrated through itd's interactive and
challenging methodologies. PORTFOLIO 's programme materials are designed and
developed to depict the specific operating environment of the organisation.
The materials are developed to transcend language and literacy barriers
ensuring employee comprehension and application thereafter. Community

Interactive Training Dynamics is currently seeking certification to the ISO
9001 QMS Standard and it is anticipated that•ITD will be certified by
December 2000. Upon ISO 9001 certification, it is believed that•Interactive
Training Dynamics will possibly be the first emerging company and the first
education, training and development interventions company to be certified in
Africa! The QMS will enable•ITD to attain and maintain the highest standard
of education, training and development throughout its programmes.This will
ensure the successful implementation of the client's management system /
programme, as a result of competent personnel. It is anticipated that the
ISO 9001 certification will ensure•Interactive Training Dynamics complies
with the accreditation requirements of service providers, in accordance with
the Skills Development Act 97 of 1998 and SAQA. ACCREDITATION AS A TRAINING
