ISO 14 001 - Environmental Management Systems (EMS)

Environmental Management Systems Preparation, planning & implementation through facilitation, education and training.

The EMS education and training programme ensures that all participants are trained in accordance with Section 4.4.2 of the
ISO 14 001 EMS standard. The training is practical and 'hands-on', relating specifically to addressing the organisation's environmental aspects and impacts.

Based upon the organisation's ISO 9001/2 Quality Management System (QMS), learners establish why quality standards are essential for the organisation. They identify quality improvement opportunities within their operation/s, in accordance with the QMS Standard.

WASTE MINIMISATION & MANAGEMENT

Participants are involved in the design, development and implementation of an integrated waste management system for the organisation, with specific reference to their work activities and responsibilities.

The programme explores the OHS Act 85 of 1993 and the responsibilities of all personnel in adhering to the legislative requirements.
